Terms of Service Agreement
Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC
Effective Date: April 1, 2025
By using our website, requesting services, approving an estimate, or engaging services with Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC (“Company”), you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service.
1. Invoice & Payment Terms
Payment is due no later than five (5) business days after completion of the job, unless otherwise specified in writing.
We accept payment via:

Zelle
Check
Cash
Certain projects may require a deposit depending on the scope and nature of work. In such cases, the Client will be informed in advance and required to sign a separate addendum agreeing to the deposit terms before work begins.
Late payments may be subject to additional fees and/or suspension of future services.
2. Website Terms & Conditions
Booking Services
Users may request services or book consultations through the following methods:

Calling us directly
Emailing us
Submission of a request does not guarantee scheduling or acceptance of the project.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this website, including but not limited to our business name, logo, designs, text, graphics, and images, is the property of Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Unauthorized use may violate applicable laws and result in legal action. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
3. Privacy Policy

4. General Service Agreement
Services & Scope
Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC provides landscaping services including, but not limited to, design, installation, and maintenance. Specific project details will be outlined in an estimate or proposal.
Services not included in the approved scope may result in additional charges.
Estimates & Approval
All estimates are based on available information and may change due to site conditions, material costs, or Client requests.
Work will not begin until the Client approves the estimate. Any additional work must also be approved before proceeding.
Scheduling & Access
Service dates are estimates and may be affected by weather or unforeseen conditions.
The Client must provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
Changes to Work
Changes must be approved and may affect pricing and timeline.
Cancellations
Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC may reschedule due to weather or safety concerns.
Clients may cancel, but charges may apply for completed work or purchased materials.
Warranties & Limitations
Services are performed to industry standards; however, Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC does not guarantee:
Plant survival due to environmental or care-related factors
Exact material or plant matches
Plant Replacement Warranty
Specified plantings are covered under warranty for a period of 12 months after installation, so long as the client waters per instructions. If a planting(s) fails, the Company will cover the cost of the replacement(s). The failed Planting(s) will be removed and disposed of, and the new Planting(s) will be installed. A warranty fee of 60% of the price per tree can be purchased. Installation, sourcing, and delivery will still be charged to replace the planting(s).
Liability
Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC is not responsible for:
Pre-existing property conditions
Unmarked underground utilities
Damage caused by weather or third parties
Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide accurate information
Maintain safe working conditions
Secure pets
Disclose hazards and property boundaries
Right to Refuse Service
Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC may refuse or discontinue service due to unsafe conditions, non-payment, or inappropriate conduct.
5. Contract Terms & Conditions
Scope & Completion
Work will be completed as outlined in the approved agreement. Timelines may vary due to external factors.
Materials
Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC supplies materials unless otherwise agreed. In some cases, the Client may request or provide specific materials; however, Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC is not responsible for the quality, performance, or suitability of client-supplied materials.
Warranties
Limited warranties apply as stated. Plant survival is not guaranteed due to uncontrollable conditions.
Safety
Work may be paused if unsafe conditions arise. Clients must keep a safe distance.
Insurance & Liability
Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC maintains appropriate insurance and is not liable for:
Pre-existing damage
Unmarked utilities
External factors beyond our control
Cancellations
Deposits may be non-refundable once materials are ordered or work begins.
6. Estimate Terms & Conditions
Estimated Pricing
All estimates are good-faith projections and may change based on actual conditions.
Validity
Estimates are valid for fourteen (14) days.
Acceptance
Written or electronic approval is required before work begins.
Changes in Scope
Changes may result in additional costs and must be approved.
Site Conditions
Unforeseen conditions may require pricing adjustments with Client approval.
Disputes
Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith communication. If unresolved, they will be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia.
Non-Binding Estimate
Estimates are not fixed-price contracts unless explicitly stated.
Media Release (Opt-Out)
By engaging our services, you grant Rivers Edge Landscaping LLC permission to capture and use photos and/or videos of your project for marketing purposes, including our website and social media.
If you prefer not to have your property featured, you may opt out at any time by notifying us in writing.
Acceptance of Terms of Service
By approving an estimate, signing an agreement, or using our services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms of Service.
